There is a very exciting trip coming up at the Hollies! We will be having a lovely boat trip down the canal with The Willow Trust on the 18th of April 2018.
The Willow Trust aims to provide therapeutic days out on the water primarily for disabled people of all ages and types of disability or people with serious illnesses. The foundation believes that these voyages bring joy and inspiration to the lives of many less able people as they fully enjoy their calming boat trip.
Apart from its own fund raising events and the contributions of The Friends of the Willow Trust, The Willow Trust is completely self-funding. Boat rides are ALWAYS free with the exception of donations.
The Willow Trust, known for its generosity, was presented the Masonic Charitable Foundation Award Plaque in November 2017. The foundation actively encourages volunteers to assist with boat rides. Additionally, becoming an annual member is also an option as well. The membership helps sponsor more opportunities for Willow Trust guests.
We cannot wait for our inspiring boat trip with The Willow Trust on Wednesday the 18th of April 2018. We would like to encourage friends and family of our residents to show support and excitement for our upcoming trip.
