Who would have ever thought we would have all had to adapt our life in such a way a year or even six months ago? The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic have been hard for us all. We have all been working harder to ensure our community remains safe and in the best health.
Everyone has rolled their sleeves up, and what has been striking is the generous and touching support from not only our local community but also the wider Gloucestershire and further including Bristol! We have received an abundance of good wishes and gifts from protective clothing to delicious fruit baskets. Local charities provided PPE and school children have helped make masks. We have received beautiful posters, banners and letters from pupils written to our residents along with beautifully drawn pictures and paintings.
For all of this we are truly grateful. The community’s efforts have gone a long way to assist us all throughout COVID-19 in keeping so positive and optimistic through these challenging times.
